DJ VLAD FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST RAPPER RICK ROSS
In the wake of an alleged assault that took place August 10, 2008 at the Ozone Awards, rapper Rick Ross has been slapped with a $4,000,000 lawsuit.
DJ Vlad has formally filed a lawsuit against Ross in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York for assault & battery. It is alleged that Ross orchestrated a brutal attack upon DJ Vlad carried out by his accomplices in retribution for media coverage of Rick Ross prior life as a correctional officer.
It was nearly a month ago that rumors hit that Ross has spent time in his late teens as a correctional officer. The rumors were seemingly confirmed when photos surfaced online, showing Ross posing in his correctional uniform. Ross has vehemently denied the allegations against him regarding his past.
Injuries sustained to DJ Vlad in the fracas include, 7 stitches below the eye, 3 fractures to the face, a corneal abrasion and possible permanent nerve damage. In his complaint, Vlad seeks $2,000,000 in compensatory damages and $2,000,000 in punitive damages.
